The
wave tank at Old Dominion University in Norfolk, Virginia was
the perfect facility to hone the porocity and rigidity of the
HALO system, allowing it to achieve the same 80% attenuation of
waves with fewer rows of panels.
It was modifications in the water
of the ODU tanks which enable HALO to offer the ultimate in wave
protection with a cost-effective, compact structure.
